Un poco sobre mí A bit about me
Soy un profesional IT/OT con experiencia combinando análisis de negocio, desarrollo de software, automatización, datos e implantación de soluciones en entornos industriales. I am an IT/OT professional with experience combining business analysis, software development, automation, data and the implementation of solutions in industrial environments.
Durante mi carrera he trabajado cerca de producción, supply chain, controlling, operaciones y equipos técnicos. Eso me ha dado una visión muy práctica: una solución tecnológica no vale solo por estar bien programada, sino por encajar con el proceso, ser mantenible y facilitar el trabajo a las personas que la usan. Throughout my career, I have worked close to production, supply chain, controlling, operations and technical teams. This has given me a very practical view: a technology solution is not valuable only because it is well programmed, but because it fits the process, is maintainable and makes life easier for the people who use it.
Actualmente desarrollo mi carrera en una gran empresa multinacional, participando en proyectos donde la tecnología debe convivir con procesos reales, usuarios reales, datos imperfectos y entornos productivos que no perdonan demasiada teoría. I currently develop my career in a large multinational company, participating in projects where technology has to coexist with real processes, real users, imperfect data and production environments that do not forgive too much theory.
He participado en rollouts internacionales, migraciones de datos, desarrollo de herramientas internas, dashboards, integraciones, automatización de procesos y despliegues de aplicaciones. I have taken part in international rollouts, data migrations, internal tool development, dashboards, integrations, process automation and application deployments.
Me siento cómodo hablando tanto con usuarios de negocio como con equipos técnicos, traduciendo necesidades reales en soluciones claras. I am comfortable speaking with both business users and technical teams, translating real needs into clear solutions.
No soy muy amigo de complicar las cosas por deporte. Si algo puede ser más simple, más estable y más fácil de mantener, normalmente merece la pena darle otra vuelta. I am not a big fan of making things complicated just for the sake of it. If something can be simpler, more stable and easier to maintain, it is usually worth taking another look.

Entiendo procesos de negocio, detecto necesidades reales y las traduzco en soluciones técnicas viables. I understand business processes, identify real needs and translate them into viable technical solutions.
Data & Reporting
Creo dashboards, modelos de datos, automatizaciones en Excel, Power BI y herramientas conectadas a sistemas corporativos. I build dashboards, data models, Excel automations, Power BI reports and tools connected to corporate systems.
Software Development
Desarrollo aplicaciones, herramientas internas, integraciones y soluciones a medida con enfoque práctico y mantenible. I develop applications, internal tools, integrations and tailored solutions with a practical and maintainable approach.
IT/OT & Industrial Systems
Trabajo en la intersección entre sistemas IT, producción, operaciones, datos industriales y despliegues en planta. I work at the intersection of IT systems, production, operations, industrial data and plant-level deployments.
Automation & Integration
Automatizo tareas repetitivas, conecto APIs, preparo flujos de datos y reduzco trabajo manual donde aporta valor. I automate repetitive tasks, connect APIs, prepare data flows and reduce manual work where it brings real value.
Deployments & Rollouts
Participo en despliegues internacionales, migraciones de datos, soporte a usuarios y adaptación de soluciones por planta o país. I participate in international deployments, data migrations, user support and the adaptation of solutions by plant or country.
03 — Inteligencia artificial con criterio 03 — AI with purpose
IA sí. Humo no. AI, yes. Hype, no.
La inteligencia artificial está abriendo posibilidades enormes, pero no creo en aplicarla por moda ni en convertir cualquier problema en "un caso de IA" porque suene bien. Artificial intelligence is opening up huge possibilities, but I do not believe in applying it just because it is fashionable or turning every problem into "an AI use case" just because it sounds good.
Me interesa especialmente la IA cuando ayuda a mejorar procesos reales: automatizar tareas repetitivas, analizar información, asistir en la toma de decisiones, documentar mejor, acelerar desarrollos, conectar sistemas o facilitar el trabajo diario de los equipos. I am especially interested in AI when it helps improve real processes: automating repetitive tasks, analysing information, supporting decision-making, improving documentation, accelerating development, connecting systems or making daily work easier for teams.
Para mí, la IA debe tener contexto, control, seguridad y propósito. No se trata de sustituir criterio humano, sino de ampliarlo. La pregunta importante no es "¿podemos meter IA aquí?", sino: ¿Qué problema concreto queremos resolver y cómo medimos si realmente mejora algo? For me, AI must have context, control, security and purpose. It is not about replacing human judgement, but extending it. The important question is not "can we add AI here?", but: What specific problem are we trying to solve, and how will we measure whether it actually improves something?

Me gusta empezar entendiendo el problema antes de elegir la tecnología. I like to start by understanding the problem before choosing the technology.
Entender el proceso Understand the process
Antes de tocar código, intento entender cómo trabaja la gente, qué datos usa, dónde se bloquea y qué necesita realmente. Before touching code, I try to understand how people work, what data they use, where they get blocked and what they really need.
Simplificar Simplify
Prefiero una solución clara, estable y mantenible antes que una arquitectura espectacular que nadie se atreva a tocar después. I prefer a clear, stable and maintainable solution over a spectacular architecture that nobody dares to touch later.
Automatizar con criterio Automate with judgement
No todo merece ser automatizado. Pero cuando una tarea se repite, consume tiempo o genera errores, ahí sí: cuchillo entre los dientes. Not everything deserves to be automated. But when a task is repetitive, time-consuming or error-prone, then yes: sleeves rolled up.
Documentar y dejar orden Document and keep things tidy
Una solución buena también debe poder entenderse mañana, por otra persona o por mi yo del futuro. A good solution should also be understandable tomorrow, by someone else or by my future self.
Pensar en producción Think about production
Me interesa que las cosas funcionen en el mundo real: con usuarios, errores, datos raros, prisas, permisos, servidores y lunes por la mañana. I care about things working in the real world: with users, errors, strange data, urgency, permissions, servers and Monday mornings.

Nadie crece solo Nobody grows alone
Una carrera profesional no se construye solo con proyectos, tecnologías o cargos. También se construye con las personas que te acompañan, te enseñan, te retan, confían en ti y, a veces, te empujan un poco más de lo que tú mismo te habrías atrevido. A professional career is not built only through projects, technologies or job titles. It is also built through the people who support you, teach you, challenge you, trust you and sometimes push you further than you would have dared to go by yourself.
He tenido la suerte de aprender de muchos compañeros, responsables y equipos a lo largo del camino. Personas que, con su forma de trabajar, su exigencia, su paciencia o su confianza, me han ayudado a crecer profesional y personalmente. I have been lucky to learn from many colleagues, managers and teams along the way. People whose way of working, high standards, patience or trust have helped me grow both professionally and personally.
